Once you book your ticket to Marrakech be sure to stay at a riad instead of a hotel. A riad is a traditional Moroccan home with an interior garden/courtyard. Moroccans offer tea as a sign of hospitality, so if offered, say thank you and drink it. It is very common. Before leaving Marrakech, get your henna done at Henna Art Cafe as some of the proceeds go towards furthering education for Moroccan youth.
